Shade and privacy on demand
The curtain can be lowered fully or partially to reduce direct sun, increase privacy and darken bedrooms when required.
Manual or electric—specified as a complete assembly.
Aluminium roller shutters for windows and doors with manual or electric operation, coordinated with the curtain, box, side guides, axle, motor or manual mechanism and installation conditions.
The shutter price is not the price of the slats alone. Width and height, slat type, curtain weight, box, side guides, bottom rail, axle, manual mechanism or motor, control method and access for future maintenance all affect the system. For new construction, planning the shutter with the window before final finishes can avoid awkward box and electrical details later.

Common uses
Bedrooms, balcony doors and exposed windows use shutters for different reasons, from darkness and privacy to solar control.
The curtain can be lowered fully or partially to reduce direct sun, increase privacy and darken bedrooms when required.
Manual mechanisms suit many smaller applications, while electric shutters add convenient control when the motor torque and electrical preparation match the finished curtain.
On new openings, shutter box, guides and window frame can be coordinated before stone, plaster and interior finishes are completed.
System choices
The curtain, axle, box, guides and operating mechanism should be selected together. Changing one part can affect the rest of the assembly.
01
A simpler operating arrangement without a motor. The lifting mechanism should still suit curtain weight, opening height and the control position inside the room.
02
Motor torque, limit setting, wall switch or other control, cable route and access to the motor all need to be determined before the box is closed by finishes.
03
Slat construction, thickness and finish affect weight, feel and price. The quotation should identify the curtain type instead of describing every system simply as ‘aluminium shutter’.
Installation planning
Motor sizing, guide condition and maintenance access are easiest to solve before stone, plaster, paint or joinery makes the opening harder to reach.
A wider or taller shutter carries more slats and can require a different motor or axle arrangement. Motor selection should follow the completed shutter rather than a generic wattage label.
Check whether the quotation includes a new box, side guides and bottom rail, or whether it assumes an existing box can be reused. Renovation conditions can change the scope significantly.
The motor, axle and mechanism should remain reachable for adjustment or replacement. A beautiful closed box is not useful if the service cover becomes inaccessible after finishing.
Ask whether the price covers the complete moving system and installation—not only the aluminium curtain:
